FasterForecasts Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FasterForecasts, a web-based forecasting application operated by FasterAI LLC (“FasterAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using FasterForecasts (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are not allowed to use the Service.

1. The Service

FasterForecasts provides automated statistical and machine-learning-based forecasts generated from user-provided input data. The Service produces estimates and projections only and does not provide professional, financial, legal, medical, or business advice.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete account information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Be fully responsible for all activity under your account
  • You may not share, resell, sublicense, or otherwise allow third parties to access your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service
  • Access the Service using automated scraping or extraction tools
  • Circumvent usage limits, paywalls, or access controls
  • Use the Service in a way that could reasonably harm FasterAI or other users

4. Strict Prohibition on Reverse Engineering

You may not, directly or indirectly:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code, models, algorithms, or underlying methods of the Service
  • Copy, reproduce, or replicate the Service or its outputs for competitive or commercial purposes
  • Use the Service to develop or improve a competing product
  • Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any fees paid, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. User Data and Content

You may provide data, files, or parameters to the Service for the purpose of generating forecasts (“Input”).

We do not store Input data.

FasterForecasts is designed such that user-submitted Input is processed transiently and is not persisted, logged, or retained after forecast generation.

We may retain limited non-content metadata related to usage, including but not limited to:

  • Input size or dimensionality
  • Timestamps
  • Execution duration
  • Feature counts or schema shape
  • Account-level usage statistics

This metadata:

  • Does not include raw data values
  • Cannot be reconstructed into the original Input
  • Is used solely for billing, system performance, abuse prevention, and service improvement

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have all rights necessary to submit the Input
  • Your Input does not violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • You acknowledge that once a forecast is delivered, Input data cannot be recovered, and FasterAI has no obligation or ability to restore it.

6. Forecast Accuracy and Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: NO GUARANTEES WHATSOEVER

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Forecasts are inherently uncertain
  • Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or incorrect
  • Past performance does not predict future results
  • The Service is provided “AS IS.”

FASTERAI MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND REGARDING FORECAST ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, OR OUTCOMES.

You are solely responsible for how you use the forecasts.

7. No Reliance

You agree that you will not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any decision, including but not limited to financial, operational, legal, or strategic decisions.

Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

8. Fees, Billing, and Payments

Certain features of the Service require payment. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors, including Stripe.

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize FasterAI to:

  • Charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise disclosed)
  • Automatically renew your subscription unless canceled prior to renewal
  • Store billing-related identifiers with Stripe (not raw payment credentials)
  • All fees are charged in advance.
  • Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Additional terms:

  • Fees do not include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout
  • Failed or reversed payments may result in immediate suspension or downgrade
  • We reserve the right to retry failed charges
  • Partial-month usage is not prorated unless explicitly stated

If you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds or credits are issued for unused time
  • We may modify pricing or plans with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a pricing change constitutes acceptance.

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account at any time
  • Delete your data
  • Deny future access

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Abuse of the Service
  • Repeated or egregious misuse
  • Attempts to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Termination may occur without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service—including software, models, interfaces, branding, and documentation—are owned exclusively by FasterAI LLC.

No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

FASTERAI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

FASTERAI’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FASTERAI FOR THE SERVICE IN THE ONE (1) MONTH IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

This limitation applies to all claims, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. In such cases, liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FasterAI LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your Input
  • Your violation of these Terms

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

You and FasterAI LLC agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
